According to Lucy, she and her husband are living the perfect life in rural Tinker’s Cove. Lucy Stone’s friends who used to wear hoop earrings and driving old pick-up trucks are currently the owners of Jeeps and pearls. This was the first book in Lucy Stone series. They were sent to Ellery Queen’s Mystery magazine and she was paid $100. Leslie Meier wanted to become a teacher but from the writings she provided, her professor told her that they were good enough to be published.
She started writing in the 1980’s during her graduate classes at Bridgewater State College.
